Charlotte is five months old today.
Little bear rolls front to back and back to front and occasionally repeats herself a few times and manages to cover some distance. She can sit up if we prop her that way and she'll stay there a few moments before toppling over. She reaches and grabs and crams it all in her drooly maw.
She doesn't have any teeth (yet) but I think they're on the way as evidenced by the spectacularly crappy sleep we've all had lately. She's up about every 90 minutes, around the clock and ohhhhh, I wish I was saying that for dramatic effect but I'm not.
In other recent discoveries, I am kind of a worthless adult with no more than 90 minutes of consecutive sleep for a week.
She smiles and she laughs and I call her my Charlie Bear and my Charlie Mae and always Charlotte, sweet Charlotte.
It wasn't long ago that she was screaming from the misery of reflux and I was screaming right along with her. Things are so much NICER now.
Five months. BAM. Here we are.

Gah, so cute. SO cute.

I hope those teeth come in (or whatever else it takes to get you sleep) soon!

Lordy it goes fast the 2nd time, doesn't it? Both of your girls are beautiful.
5/6 months was also our Getting Better Point. Off the reflux meds by 7 months. Amazing the difference from the beginning! Hope you have the same luck :)

She is just beautiful!
And damn, it does go even faster the 2nd time around. Hoping those teeth break through soon. A friend just told me about chamomile tea. Make some tea then let a washcloth steep in the cup for awhile. Stick it in the freezer for a bit and then give it to her. I could actually see the swelling go down in her little mouth. I don't know if it was the flavor or what but she seemed to like it more than a regular washcloth (otherwise I wouldn't be making a baby tea) Guess it wouldn't really help at night though....

I just want to squeeze both of them!
I found that with Teddy, time went but with Veronica it just FLEW. Even with the crappy sleep, time flew. I am glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Hooray! Such a sweet girl, both of them. :)
(Not the sleep hooray, but I feel for you considering we're in and out of it on a daily basis. Doc says both top teeth are /redswollen. OH YEA.)
