Had 5 grandchildren at the house for the day (gave daughter a weekend off at the Mall of American in Minneapolis with her BFF). Ages 11, 9, 7, 2, 1. It's been raining for 3 days.
Need I say more? The end.

You accomplished a lot today!

I took two kids to the library, loaded/ran/unloaded the dishwasher, handwashed some dishes, gathered all the trash and recycling and took it out, and fed/cleaned up after the children. I did not shower.

I also have overripe bananas on my counter. Maybe I'll make banana bread, too. With this weather, though, bananas have been going bad fast and we're very sick of banana bread. Last week I made a huge batch and froze it all because we have little interest in eating it.

I'm too tired to type it all out, but I did the usual mommy/baby stuff...times 2, of course. Twinlets and all.

I also paid bills, sent an edible arrangement to a sick family member, and cut out EIGHTEEN owls as part of first birthday prep. I think that makes me awesome.

Wow - that's a LOT! You pretty much rock.

All the normal stuff, plus two loads of laundry (which I folded AND put away, you may send my medal to my house directly), hung the clock over the mantel, loaded up the car, left the house (yes, that so deserves to be on the list), got gas in the car, dropped off the dry cleaning, went to the UPS store, went to the consignment store and sold a batch of Elizabeth's baby clothes, went to the mall, window shopped, watched two kids roll around in those giant mall hamster balls, ate a cookie on a bench, went back to the window shopping store and actually shopped, left the mall, went to the produce co-op lady's house to pick up our order, went to the pharmacy which didn't have our prescription, went to the other pharmacy across the street, got home to find out only half the pharmacy order was in the bag (got to go back tomorrow), made minestrone soup for dinner (eh, not bad), cleaned up dinner, put Elizabeth to bed, and then processed all the produce from the order, which included (thanks, Internet!) washing the raspberries with vinegar and cutting up FIVE cucumbers. How in the world does this produce co-op expect me to eat five cucumbers in one week?

And you were right, writing all that down made me feel super productive and amazing. We both rock today!

Oooh, I love this. For my response, see my blog!

I certainly didn't do 1/4 of what you did today! My word! You go girl!

You are awesome! You probably don't want to hear my list because I'm on vacation. And I'm on vacation with my mom, staying with my grandma and both my mom's sisters, so I am surrounded by people who are constantly telling me how cute my kids are and offering the little ones whatever they want.

You go girl!

I went over to my mom's and went swimming. Then took a nap, and watched some Sons of Anarchy. I prepped dinner, but Micah cooked it! lazy day!

Wow. This is pretty great.

I love a good list--and especially a list that reinforces how awesome and productive I already think I (or you, in this case) am.

Heh.
