Yesterday at work as I was walking to the bathroom for the four thousandth time that day, a woman that I hardly know was walking the other way and said,
"Whoa! Look out! THAT'S coming soon!"
People really do say some stupid things to pregnant women.

OH MAN. I know what you mean. I worked up until the day I gave birth and I could not stop hearing, "You're STILL here?"

Kirida, I had the opposite happen to me - my daughter came a week early and when I got back from maternity leave the guy I was supposed to have been working with that last week was still grumbling about how it messed up his project and put it behind schedule.

I was at a sushi restaurant (not getting to enjoy sushi btw, but just being a super nice wife and getting teriyaki chicken so my husband could have some) and we were waiting to be seated and some man was walking out and yelled so that people looked 'Whoa don't have it here. Oh, man, look out. Not today. Don't have it here." Hilarious! Jerk. I get it, my belly is big. You're so funny.

You should have looked at her deadpan and said, "I'm due in August."

Ohhh, yeah. I get very large with my pregnancies (also I have huge babies, 10-12 pounds on the average) and last MONTH, when I was, oh, 26 weeks along, the grocery clerk asked me when I was due.
"Late June," I said.
She looked at me and shook her head and said, "Nahhh, I don't think you're gonna make it."
I almost told her, "OMG! You are TOTALLY wasting your psychic skills here at Kroger! Start your own hotline, now!"
